F.A.Q.
Looking for answers? We have them listed below.
Frank Prior has been in the business of automotive detailing since January of 1989.
Mobile detailing is better than going to a shop because you don’t have to drop off and pick up your vehicle. Also, we are not limited to the size of vehicle that gets detailed. We can detail anything from motorcycles to RVs and even airplanes on site.
We carry our own soft water and a generator for electricity, so we can detail your vehicle wherever you want it done—as long as we have permission from the property owner.
We work in and around the Tri-Cities area, serving Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Finley, West Richland and surrounding areas. But we are willing to travel further under the right circumstances. If you aren’t sure whether we can come to you, please give us a call.
We can work in any temperature above 35°F. If it is too cold, we would have to reschedule or pick up your vehicle and deliver it back to you when we were done.
We can do most details with a pop-up canopy or in your garage. However, we can reschedule if you would prefer.
You do not NEED to be present while we are working on your vehicle, though it’s fine if you are. We would prefer customers to be there at the beginning of the appointment to let us in the car and point out any areas of concern, and at the end of the appointment to guarantee satisfaction.
The length of your appointment will depend on the type of vehicle (car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle), the type of service, and the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the vehicle.
We are qualified to work on all vehicles. We regularly work with all kinds of paint, fiberglass, gelcoat, vinyl, glass and many metals.
We can answer that with two questions. How often does your car get dirty and how dirty does it get? Our services start off with an exterior wash and interior vacuum and light cleaning, we recommend getting at least that done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Some people want their vehicle to always look great, so they get it detailed regularly. Others only want to be able to get the most out of selling their vehicle, so they get it done right before the sale.
Detailing removes oxidation, light scratches, foreign paints (paint not from your car but is on your car), spills of many types, gum, tar, bugs, dirt, mold—the list goes on and on!
Detailing cannot fix deep scratches in glass, deep scratches in paint (though we can sometimes make them less noticeable), paint crackling or cracking, dead paint (you can ask us about dead paint in person), or thin paint.
Detailing is a great thing to have done when you want your vehicle to look its best. Detailing can also help protect your vehicle from the elements and help it retain its value for resale purposes.
Detailing includes vacuuming and steam cleaning interior surfaces, washing, polishing, waxing exteriors, and conditioning all the plastic, vinyl, rubber and leather inside and outside of your vehicle to look as new as possible again without repainting, repairing, or replacing any parts.
We do not do pin striping or any vinyl. However, we would be happy to recommend some of our trusted providers for these services. Just give us a call.
We have been providing Tri-Cities community with mobile auto detailing since the spring of 1994 and have earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
